Next Sale is the October Toy Sale…Registration for the October toy sale is Thursday September 16th, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist church.

                                        NO ITEMS ACCEPTED AFTER 8:00PM

Friday, October 8                      9:00am - 12:00pm    Public Sale

Any items that are not picked up by 3:45pm   on Saturday October 9th WILL BE DONATED!

 

Sellers for the toy sale will be limited to a MAXIMUM OF 75  ITEMS or a minimum $50.00 value.  Anything over 75 items will be rejected.

 

 

PACKAGING OF ITEMS

 

a.     All toys must be cleaned, in working order, include batteries (when applicable), and all pieces must be present.

b.    All small item toys need to be in Ziploc bags.

c.     Clear mailing tape must be used to secure the tag to the items and/or baggies.  Cover the complete tag.

d.    NO TWISTY TIES TO CLOSE BAGGIES.

e.     Ziploc bags must be used and closed tightly.  Two-gallon Ziploc baggies can be purchased for larger items.

Listed in the packet (obtained at public registration) are specific ways to package certain categories.  PLEASE FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS AS SPECIFIED

 

 

       The sales committee of FBMUMC cannot be responsible for losses or damages.  Be sure items are securely tagged and that the seller number is legible.

If you choose to work three shifts during the week of the sale, you will be permitted to shop on Thursday, October 7, between 5:00pm-6:00pm.  One of the three shifts must be Saturday 12-4 which is tear down and clean up.  If you are a seller working 1 or 2 shifts, you may shop between 6:00pm – 7:00pm.  If you choose to work 1 or 2 shifts without being a seller, you may shop from 7:00 – 8:00pm.  Since you will not be permitted to bring another adult to assist with shopping or childcare, we encourage you to think about whether you want to bring your children to the early shop.  THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
